Default Speaker problems

I have a 1997 GT Convertible. It has the factory stereo CD and Mach speakers. I am getting speaker noise. I hear what sounds like alternator noise and loud thunder like noise coming from both door speakers. Is it the radio, speakers going bad, or what is the most likely cause ?

Default RE: Speaker problems

welcome to MFs.. this isn't really the area for tech questions.. try posting it in one of the tech areas, you'll get a better response. but it sounds like your stereo is grounding / shorting out.. wires touching bare metal somewhere.
