just thought i would introduce myself. i must confess, i do not yet have a mustang, but i am looking to get one in the next few months and wanted to learn as much about them as possible. im a big car guy, been a car guy since i was 3..lol...and im an even bigger jeep guy

i love to go wheeling, ive had 4 jeeps and have beat the heck out of each one of them offroad...thats my favorite place to be is on a trail with my jeep.

BUT, my current jeep isnt road friendly at all anymore, so i figured i would put it away, fix it up some, rebuild the engine, and do some other repairs on it. so i figured, so i could go with out driving it while the engine is apart, and just bc i want a more road friendly car, i would go ahead and buy a 2005-present Mustang...i would prefer the GT, but i may just go with the V6..but most likely when the time comes, i wont be able to help it, and ill go ahead and get a GT..lol

 

Good to see you here. I must confess I am new as well and this is my first post. I however own 2 Fox's. I have an 82 gt hatch I procured for $1200 a dozen or so years ago and I just picked up an 87 notch LX 4 banger. It seems I will be placing my 5.0 in the notch for now and building a street/strip car. Hope to see/hear about you and your 05+ GT in the near future.

anyways, i love your mustang TPony. thats very nice. thats exactly like what i want, only in a coupe style. i love the black with tinted windows and stainless chrome wheels....

is that one of those california editions or what ever they're called?

 

Nope, its not the California Special. Its actually a GT with a Roush Front fascia/chin spoiler and hood scoop. I have the GT500 rear spoiler and mufflers. That's the great thing about our stangs, yuo can customize to your taste.

 

yea, i like having things that i can customize to get the exact look and performance i want. jeeps are the same way...there isnt a thing on a jeep that you cant switch out to make it look better, and/or help its performance off road
