Hello, new guy here. I live north of Toronto, Ontario. This looks like a great site.

I having been looking at stangs and like mostly the first gen, especially 66. But I havea lead on alow mile 1990 5.0 7-up green convert with automatic ( I am to old for sticks LOL), going to see it tomorrow.

How do I tell it is an official 7-up? Vin or anything?

Anything else I should look for in the 1990 model, I am use to looking at 60's only.

First of all, you are NEVER to old for a stick. Secondly, what's a 7-up mustang??

 

Get the Vin and run a CarFax. I've never heard of a 7-Up coloring either..

 

yes i have seen quite a few 7up editions they were a constest from 7up, green LX convert 5.0 with white top and white seats....

 

Very cool. Hope it turns out to be a true 7-up Mustang. As MustangCat said do a carfax report on it. Best way to know. You could also try and find a VIN Decoder online and plug in the VIN.

 

Ok thanks guys. Only 2100 were produced here in Canada, not sure in US.

There is a 1990 on ebay right now if you want to see one. I love the hunter green.
