Hello to everyone out there. As you know I am new to the board. I just purchased me a 87 GT 5 speed and I am looking for some information on how to's and things of that nature. The color is black with black and grey interior. The exterior is in good shape but just needs a paint job really bad and the interior could use some touching up. That is the last thing on my list to do with the vehicle. It needs alot of TLC under the hood though. I am not looking to make this car race quality but I would like it to have some ***** on the street. Now the problems I know it has as of right now is that it is leaking fuel from the injectors. I know what you all are thinking and that it might be the seals but I have replaced them and it still leaks. The person I bought it from changed the injectors and the rails and I am pretty sure he didn't know what he was doing. I plan to upgrade intakes anyway along the way changing some other things while I have that off but I am lost when it comes to things of that nature. The next problem I am having is there is a vacuum leak somewhere. Other than that she is a good car and can't wait to get started on the restoration process even though I had slightly began. Hope to find some good info and some helpful strangers on here to give me some insight on where to go, what to buy, and how to do with my mustang. Thank you.
