Default Curious about Mustangs

Hey guys im chris and im 22 years old. My buddy has a mustang and hes currently trying to fix it up and latley its been growing on me. I drive a 05 lancer evolution with some light mods done(have only owned it for about 2 months)

Its pretty fast and I like it..this winter i was going to replace the intercooler, piping, and upgrade the turbo system to a 35r.

Lately mustangs have been growing on me as well with just raw american muscle...I dont know all that much about mustangs..i see them everywhere around here but they are all really slow and basic...

If i was to look for one would a wise choice be a 03-04 cobra? I kind of like the new body style mustangs but i think i like the generation body stylebefore it

Its been growing on me ever since i saw one nice cobra passing thru while i was at the store and i came out and this thing was just cruising but it sounded deep and LOUD...the thing sounded so mean and raw it was ridiculous.

I understand the power potential with my car and i see them running nice 1/4 times all the time but lately ive been craving the idea of having something sounding extremely loud and mean but a nice quality sound.

Long post..but if anyone could point me in the right direction of a good year to aim for and trim level thats better than the cobra or stay with the cobra let me know [8D]

As for now ill keep searching in the meantime and see if i cant find something.

The 03-04 Cobra is one of the most rewarding Mustangs in my opinion. If you decide to go thris route, be prepared to pay to pla, as they don't come cheap. They are a blast to drive though.

The 03/04 cobra hands down unless you are going for old school muscle.

Sorry ive been away awhile but this will make my searching much easier. So if I want to build a powerful muscle car I should def go with the 03-04 cobra? Ill start looking and I know you have to pay to play I do that with my evo lol I just want something really loud and fast and my tastes are changing and day by day i become less into imports and more into muscle

Welcome to MF's. If I was ruler of the world, I would make everyone drive Black 2003 Mustang's.
