hi :)
hi, my name is jorge lopez. i just boughta new 2003 mustang GT. i plan on upgrading as soon as possible. im gonna need a lot of help deciding on what to buy and on locations of where to get my stuff installed. i plan on posting here a lot so get ready to reply a lot
thanx</P>svlsarjbnlgnbMUSTANGS!!!!!lsrgnprgs</P>
thanx a bunch guys. i love it
i have a few questions</P>1) after how many miles will my car be considered "broken in?"</P>
2) i want an aftermarket exhaust. i dont know which to get. i dont like crazy deep 1/4" terror sound comming out the back, but i would like a deep growl, and a nice sound WOT. i've heard many cars but still cant decide. i know i should prolly just pull over every car i hear that has a good sound comming out the back but, they would prolly run when they see me comming
anyways, i had a 5.0 and it had 2 chamber flowmasters with o/r h-pipe and 1 5/8" primaries. i liked it but thought it to be a little on the loud side. soooo what do u guys suggest? im just gonna keep whatever u say in mind, but will prolly just decide by what i hear on the street.</P>3)when i shift, it feel like the stick doesnt want to go all the way, like there's some kind of border or bushing that slow down the shift before it goes in, it wasnt as apparent on my 5.0 only when it got hot, but on my 4.6 its more apparent. what is this? and will a new shifter like pro 5.0 (BTW how is the pro 5.0 for the 4.6? or any mustang for that matter) make this better?</P>
thanks again for ur help
</P>
awsome, thatnx for the fast answers. </P>
couple more
</P>1) magnaflows... they have to go with x pipe right? Im looking for something that wont be too loud, like the stock sound but a little louder and more trougty <== cant spell worth s**t <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"> so magnaflows are the east loud of the exhausts? also i was planning on getting the x-pipe or h-pipe with cats to further muffle the noise. im just really worried about noise cuz when i take people in my car (my old 5.0) it was kinda loud. and i would really be paranoid that they would think it was too loud so for thier sake and for all of humanity
i dont want this one too loud. dont get me wrong, i would love for this monster to sound the part but i have to have consideration for the babies
</P>edit: BTW will there be a big diff in noise with equal length over full length? which should i try to get? thanx again people</P>
lol i keep thinking of questions as i ask them
</P>1) i was planning on getting the new cnl performance "true flow upper intake plenum." what do u guys think of this? i was reading that it was worth HP over an allready ported stock plenum, and i dont need to mod to fit bigger throttle bodies.</P>
2)what size trottle body and mass air flow sensor should i get? </P>
3) what is the first thing i should do to my car as far as modding the thing? cuz im still under warranty (obviously<IMG src=smileys/smiley4.gif border="0">) and dont want to **** of the dealer too much <IMG src=smileys/smiley7.gif border="0">(im gonna look into them installing the stuff so as to still be covered by the factory warrenty..... THANX A BUNCH PEOPLE!!!</P><edited><editID>jorge</editID><editDate>37923.6185069444</editDate></edited>
MORE QUESTIONS</P>
1)about the exhaust, i just noticed, when looking at pictures of components, that if i run full length headers, i dont seem to be able to have cats... is this true? or can u have cats on a full length header application?</P>
2) ive read good things about certain x-pipes but nothing about magmaflows x-pipes, how do these fair against the competition?</P>
