New From Dallas, TX
Hey, everyone!
I signed up for this forum some time ago, but because I didn't have a Mustang, I never made a post. Well, all that has changed now. I'm the proud owner of a 94 GT with all the common bolt-ons you'd expect from buying preowned. Her sweet 5.0 looks (and sounds) to be in excellent shape, and...well...I'll just have to get some pictures up!
To give a bit of background:
I have been deemed a traitor by my family for crossing over to "the dark side." Well, maybe not so harshly, but they're GM people. It could be because my grandfather worked a GM assembly line for 25 years, and the driveways of my entire family look like a GM Promo event. Pontiac, Buick, GMC, Chevy...These people are pretty obsessed. But, my poor '97 Malibu has seen better days, and it's about time for her to be off to the big scrap yard in the sky.
Her 3100 SFI and Grand Am platform have served me well in learning the ropes of the tuner world, but I'm a big boy now - I can tie my own shoes and everything. So, I think it's time I've upgraded to a big boy car without the fart can - Though, I have to admit I did a fine job in selecting an exhaust that sounded more like an angry bear than an angry bee.
Anywho, so here I am with my new girl, and I hoping she'll be rocking my socks off come this spring (My cheddar doesn't seem to spread as far as it used to). I picked her, because my girlfriend used to have a '94 Mustang Convertable (not the kind that converts into a piece of crap when you turn the ignition), and I absolutely loved it. While she's busy worrying about me wrapping myself around a light pole, I'll be busy wrapping my head around the plentiful information of this esteemed forum.
Wow...Did you really make it all the way down here?
