Greetings
Just joined these forums and wanted to introduce myself. I have a black 2002 Mustang GT. The first after market part I installed was the Bassani X-pipe and catback about a year ago with the help of my wonderful wife. A week ago I just installed the Bassani equal length headers (again with my wife). Im thoroughly satisfied with result although will prolly look into getting the exhaust higher to the chassi to avoid any future scraping of the pavement. My next endeavor looks like a supercharger by Allen Engine. From my own research and poking around, it looks to be a very safe reliable upgrade and requires no internal modifications to the block (6psi kit). I was also looking into gettin a new shifter since i noticed the 1-2 shift can be tough in the mornings and up shifting to 3rd is no joy. Im thinking of installing the Steeda tri ax but now kinda confused of which tranny i have. They have several models available and not sure if I have a T4.5 or not. I would consider myself a jack of all trades but master of none, so im very new to this. I still havent gotten my CAI yet but have my eye on one from Mac. I thought the heatshield from Steeda's CAI had a nice touch but its about $80 more-heh.

I would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions. Im not looking to flood my interior with gauges or throw stickers on the body. I like the upgrades that improve performance but NOT at the cost of shortening the life of the car.

Ok so T45 or TR3650? Can I lift the car and check a SN # on the tranny? Oh and btw cruising down the hwy the Bassani purrs like a kitten. Slowing speeds will give it a droning sound but not cruising.

Ok so you asked if i was putting gears into it? Im guessing you mean installing a lower gear rearend for a quicker off-the-line response? If that is the case, im not opposed to it but not considering it at this time. I just havent convinced myself if it is worth it or not to go that route.
