hey everybody, i am 19 and drive a 91 buick park avenue. i am not very fond of it to be honest... my plans are to sell the car soon (when i say soon, i mean, as soon as someone comes along with 3500 and some intrest) and build myself a 68'GT Fastback. (some of you might make the connection between my name and the car... just call me steve!) In my opinion, it doesn't get any better than a 'stang!

Bullit Freakin rocks. Best car chase I've ever seen, and no camera effects. Gotta love it.

Well, Park Avenue's aren't that bad. Just a Bonne with old person's clothing. Supercharged 3.8L, engine has some serious potential. Look around for parts for a Grant Prix GTP, I'm pretty sure the parts'll bolt right up to your car if you want some go right about now.

jeep, yeah, i agree, Bullitt definately has one of the greatest car chases of all time. as for the park avenue, yeah, it usedto be blown, but i blew some main bearings and had to replace the whole engine, and they gave me the standard 3.8. as far as building it goes, yeah, i have often fantasized about turning it into one bad *****' but just decided to sell it and get a 'stang instead.

*whispers* tuuuuuurbo

Same block as the Grand National, but FWD. Don't turn it down so quickly, it's one of the best sleepers out there. Plenty of potential n/a too.

But, if you get the stang, drop in the 351, 302, or the 427 428 V8's. The 289....too small, and just doesn't sound good, IMO.

jeep, again, i have to agree with you. when talking about cubes, if it starts with a 2... i don't want it. haha. hell yeah though, i would love to drop a 427 into 68 fastback. regarding the buick, yes, it is a wonderful sleeper. haha when i had the ultra series engine in it, it was fun to watch all these kids' faces when their stupid ricers got spanked everytime... but it isn't the engine that is fustrating me,it is pretty strong, it is mostly the suspension, and the interior and exterior is just falling apart, etc. etc.

love the pic, by the way...

Welcome!!! Park ave is ***!!! Get rid of it. I had one too! Hated it. Bullit best car chase ever because the Mopar blows up. By the way, ever notice how the Mopar loses like 18 hubcaps during that chase??????????
