hi all! only a few days since i joined this forum. glad to be here. thought i'd share a little about myself and what drives me. i'm 18 (19 n a few days) yr old female from oklahoma. mustang puts a little excite in my life, seeing as how there isnt much since i live in oklahoma. i had a 2000 v6 mustang prior to my current stang, which is now an upgrade to a 2005 mustang gt. i love it, it's the new car gifts with a classic car style. anyway, just thought i'd introduce myself and my ride.

unfortunately i really dont know how to work on a car myself. never been taught how and never wanted to screw things up bad enough by trying alone. wanted to buy an old car and fix it up with my dad so i could learn how to work on cars, but of course my dad said that isnt something for girls to do! [:@] so i have been learning more but no where near close to lifting the hood and gettin dirty, sadly. the farthest ive gotten is checking my tires for air and putting air in them. sad but true. please do help convert me!!

Wow you're exactly like me. I'm 17 and ordered a performance white (gets hot over here in cali during the summer) 05 GT with black interior and IUP . It comes in on Thursday (2 days!!!) I can't wait!

On a side note, How much do you pay annually for insurance mustang7171? JW

 

No shame in not knowing how to fix a car. Well maybe. I also do not know how to maneuver around a car to fix it. I relied mostly on my best friend whom is a mechanic.
