Another new guy
Hi all,
I just picked up a '94 cobra and figured I'd better register, as I have some questions I need help with. I'll post those in the appropriate forums, but for general info about the car: Ironically enough, I found out about the car through our local GM high performance club. One of the club members bought the car from the 2nd owner. The mass air sensor apparently died, and the car pretty much quit running. That guy parked it, not knowing what was wrong with it. Luckily, he parked it under a car cover. He recently got in financial trouble and had to sell the car for a really low price. So, the GM club member is a friend of his and he bought the car. He has some really nice stuff already and didn't need another car, so he put it up for sale. I just happened to get there with the money first. The car is white with a tan/black interior. It has been lowered, had the hood replaced with a fiberglass cobra R hood, and has had a paxton blower kit put on it. From what I heard the blower was put on in 1995. I don't know what size blower it is since it says novi but does not have a model number after that. I suspect it's pretty small, as it's non intercooled and didn't make more than 5 or 6 pounds of boost. I say "didn't" because the blower bit the big one the day after I got the car. It started wailing really loud, so I pulled over and took the belt off. Hopefully it can be rebuilt, if not I'll be having to replace it.
Anyway, the car only has 83,000 some-odd miles on it. I got REALLY lucky to find this one. I'll post a few pictures of it when I get a chance.
