New from NC
Whats up guys I am a new guy to this forum and really a new guy to Mustangs all together.
I guess it was inevitable that I become a mustang guy no matter how much I fought it, lol. When I was a little kid my dad had a 65 coupe that I loved....until he totaled it that is. Then in 1996 My sister bought a 1995 Mustang V6. I liked the way it looked and I drove it a couple of times. Even with the anemic 3.8 I loved to drive that car. That is when I fell in love with the SN-95. I turned out to be a sport compact guy though and even though most of my friends drove Foxes I still stuck to imports, that is until recently. you see I have this one friend, Jeff, who has always had bad-a$$ fox-bodies. I have helped him work on most of them but the bug never bit, until he got a bone stock 96 GT coupe. As soon as he got it the memories of my sisters sn-95 came right back. He offered to sell it to me So he could put more money into his 91 GT. The deal was so good that I could not pass it up. That was about two months ago and there is no looking back now. I haven't really done much to the car yet- BBK CAI, O/R H-pipe, Cat-back w/ Flowmasters, lowered it 2 inches, ditched the 16 inch stock wheels for some 17's off of a 98 Cobra, 3.5 inch Cowl Hood, one-piece headlights and a Saleen-style body kit (the latter I haven't installed and I am not sure if I am). Since I got the 96 I have also gotten a 65 project car, and a 94 GT Convertible (which i had planned on selling but my wife has called dibs on it.) Right now Jeff and I are working on installing a 4.6 into a 1986 LX T-top hatch, which is turning out to be a fun project. So I guess I can say that the bug has definately bitten.
