I recently purchased a 1986 Mustang LX with the 3.8 V6 in it. Right now its not much to look at but the good news is the body is in good shape. Nothing new paint wont fix. I am definitely going to be modifying it as at the present time it only has a 2BBL carb and factory exhaust. I am unsure if any previous owner installed this particular engine or what as the vin # says its an EFI 3.8 V6. Would love to bring it up to 2005 3.8 V6 specs. Well thats enough for this post at the moment. Any ideas are definitely appreciated.

Its an automatic. My fiancee cant drive a stick but I would much prefer a stick in an older model. I always wanted a mustang, just never could afford one till now. Fiancee wants a 65 but I dont know if thats ever going to happen. Maybe if we win the lottery her dream can be a reality.
