Yes, I agree. But if you want and can afford an all out race car made for the street, the Z06 is the way to go. ANd projections show the GT 500 at 12.5sec 1/4 mile compared to the Z06 low 11's. The 500 will more than get just "beat". It WILL get spanked, hard.

I dont know man.........................give me some fat rears, dot-approved drag tires maybe, and I will lay that power down and give ya a run for your money. Without some traction help there is no way the GT 500 could hang with that Vette, but give the GT 500 some traction help and look the ____ out dooode! lol

But given the same amount of money you can do a lot more with the GT 500 then the Z06. Plus the Z06 is a great car but it will never be a legend and that is what the GT 500 is.
