Hi I'm Taylor and I'm a broke *** college student. I live in Ft Worth, TX.
I picked up a black 01 GT today. Bone stock except for a dumped exhaust (sounds terrible...I hear these cars sound good with the Flowmaster 40-series mufflers...yea or nay?). So yeah, that's me.
This car isn't really going to be anything more than a daily driver so I don't want to get real wild with it...probably at most it will get lowered, get wheels, and maybe an x-pipe and exhaust. I signed up here to just get some general knowledge of these cars since I just sold my 3rd DSM...this is my first V8.
I've been looking at the FR500s on AmericanMuscle.com. I'm leaning towards the 17x9 up front and 17x10.5 in the rear...will I have rubbing issues if I lower the car and what tire sizes would you recommend?

Welcome to the forums. There are specific sections for your questions. Try to ask them there. You'll get more responses.
