New Mustang!
Just picked up a brand new 2009 Mustang on Monday.
I did a lot of test driving of cars in the past few months, and we (my wife and I) were going to settle for a Nissan Rogue. But, all these types of cars are around 20K + - and I did not want to spend more than 16k tops.
Sat, my parents gave us the Houston car ads for my son - who is 22 months and is obsessed with cars - (he loves the car ads with the color pics of the cars).
I looked at them with him, and my wife saw a few ads for cheap prices on new 2009 mustangs. She knows I always look at the newest body style of Mustang at intersections and red lights - and she was amazed at the prices listed.
We drove to the local dealership this past Sat afternoon and test drove one. It was nice, but they could not come down enough on the price. We then dealt with 2 Houston area dealers on the phone, as she kept pushing me to get one, because of their prices...
1 tried to pull a bait and switch, and I caught it on the phone. Then, I called one in Katy, and they could/would honor their ad and had 3 on the lot. It was too late Sat at 7pm to go, so I went Mon afternoon. Everything worked out, and here I go.

It's Vapor Gray - and I plan to get the windows tinted this weekend.
It still doesn't feel like my car yet - as it happened so quick. Not like I had time to lust over a Mustang and think about a future purchase for weeks. But, what guy will pass up a wife's offer to go buy a brand new Mustang
