Another New Guy
Hi, I'm Matt, 19, from just outside Pittsburgh PA, and I just bought my first Mustang. I traded in my 01 Olds Alero for a 2009 Mustang V6 Convertible. She has 12,000 miles, and I absolutley love it. I cannot wait to learn what I can do to this car from these forums

This is what she's looking like for the time being, but the dealer is throwing in a set of silver stripes sometime next week.

That thing's a blank canvas brand new... cool. New wheels (they're on my list also).
You know, I rented a 2005 (maybe newer) v6 and the thing was insanely fast... took it to get icecream last summer and it got lots of looks.
Anyway congrats... wish I had something that badass when I was 19
Edit: see if you can get him to give you black stripes to match the ragtop

i thought about that but i dont think it will look good... too much black.. and the silver offsets on the dark blue...
another thing, im not another kid who's mommy and daddy bought them their car... im completely financially responsible for the payments, upkeep, and insurance on this beast... thats one of the things im proud of with this car
and as to it being fast, yeah... i didnt expect it to be this fast, it gets to 100 fast than my alero got to 50 :X
i just hope i can figure out some mods i can do to get some more power that wont kill my Certified preowned warranty...
