Default Hey

Hello Mustang Forums!!

My names Justin and currently drive a 92 325i but may be picking up a 5.0. I have a coworker looking to sell his fox body and I was wondering if there are any tips you all may have when buying these mustangs.

A little about what may be my future car:
107k
5.0 HO
auto
white on red hatchback
asking $2500
worth it?

If there is no rust and no wrecks and the mechanics on it are sound then yes its a good deal.

Thanks all!

Do you guys have something like a buyers guide to these cars? I know generally what to look for when purchasing a car but was wondering if there are any specifics for this body style.

That body style likes to rust on the trunk lid and the fender wells and along the drip edge of the doors. All of my 5.0's had that or developed that at some point. A compression test is a good idea and wont cost much and done by a mechanic. Just like the first guy stated.....good luck and welcome to the forum
