New To the Group - 84 Pon
I have a restoration project - 1984 Mustang w/5.0. I'm retired military and picked this car up in NJ in 1996 for the engine. I had a 86 Coupe (4-banger) and was going to swap engines, but I moved to Wichita, KS. I sold the 86 and kept the 84. I recently got the car out of storage and I'm ready to start the project. The body is perefectly straight. Interior is going to need some serious attention. Dash, carpet, instrument cluster, weatherstripping at a minumum will need replaced. It has T-Tops, charcoal grey - planning on keeping it original color. Wanting to make it a Sunday cruiser, take it to work occasionaly, etc....

Looking forward to the advice of some veteran owners on how, where to restore the interior. I'm mechanically inclined, but very interested to hear from some tricks and tips on suspension. Wanting a good running looker that will turn heads and RPM's. Thanks and Hello to all.
