I am the second owner of a 1966 289 2v automatic with 66,000 miles that I am getting ready to start working on. It has lived it's whole life in Michigan and was bought as the last new 1966 V8 in Detroit by my great uncle. It is 100% the way it rolled off the dealership lot, which unfortunately they put 67 hub caps on it, so it doesn't look original but hey what can you do. I am going to start doing minor things to get it road worthy and then will get the body work done, but hopefully in the next couple of years have it back to it's original glory.
