hello just joined in.chance to buy 96 cobra,really nice car.66,000 miles,5 owners, never wrecked.laser red/black leather convertible.shortthrow shifter, cold air intake,bbk pipe with cats.asking price is 9200. what do you guys think of the price? also what gears came stock in it.With 3.73s, a tune, and sticky tires what could my 1/4 mile times be? thanks

 

Welcome to the forum! I would try to talk him down a little. $9200 for a 13 year old car is to much for me. But if you think your getting a good deal then go for it.

Depending on a driver mod, you could be in the low to mid 13s.

In excellent condition, its worth about $9.5k-10k. Mods doesn't really jack the price up on a car. They are plus, and minus. Plus because they are on the car, but minus because somebody might have "ragged" it out. 9,200 is a good price. If you have the money to pay that, go ahead. If not, try to talk him down to at least $9K. Good luck! If you get the car, make sure to post some pictures!
