looks great and love the polished whipple!.....why is the gas line (I believe that is what it is) going over instead of thru or under the compressor itself?

 

Good question!! Was installed by an SVT Ford mechanic, next time I see him I will ask. Do you have any thoughts mygt500? I have seen others that way but not many, now I really need to get the skinny!! Any insights would be appreciated.

I didn't mean to offend you. You have a really nice car, now that I think about it those emblems look better on your car than the stock gt ones would. And I have the shaker audio system, not the hood.

 

Hey blackstang, no problem, you caught me on a rough day, no hard feelings and sorry for jumping on ya'. As far as the Cobra emblems go, I started putting Cobra emblems on Mustangs back in 86, I had a LX with a 5.0 that I ordered brand new, it was my first new car and wow was it something else, I ordered the notch and the car had no A/C, and roll up windows, I ordered the car as light as possible, then had some 3.73 gears installed and put in a 150 shot of juice, man I was smoking fast. I also owned a 93 SVT Mustang, then a 98 SVT Mustang convertible, and a 2003 SVT Mustang so snakes on my mustangs are nothing new, I only added the emblems AFTER I had the Whipple HO installed, I feel that if you want to put that emblem on you must be able to back it up!! I kind of wanted to make my own street version of a modern day "Cobra Jet" Mustang Anyway, thanks and take care.

Hello David,

Actually yes, quite a few but I need to scan them and some how put them in my iphoto program, I also had 5 442 Oldsmobiles, a 67' GTA Fairlane, two 64 Galaxies and many more. I'll grab the pictures from the garage and see if I can get those posted here. Take care. Mike
