Hi All,
I've just joined the forum.
We have a 65 convertible which I restored from the ground up and added RRS front suspension, disc brakes, and RRS 3 link rear suspension. AOD 4 speed auto, and KME dash then last year a 5.0l crate motor.
We drive the car everywhere, from Canberra (the Capital of Australia where we live) to Sydney (the Capital of New South Wales, only 267 Km), Melbourne (the Capital of Victoria 960Km), Brisbane (the Capital of Queensland, 1500Km) and Perth, (the capital of Western Australia, same distance as New York to LA).
We bought a 66 C Code coupe last year that had the luxury interior (Pony trim) including console, air con and PS.
It is a daily driver and needs some TLC, but so far it's got new front floors, repairs to a hole in the RH inner guard and new carpet.
Next week the rebuilt engine will be going back in. I've been installing a new under-dash wiring loom in it, and because the previous loom had an immobiliser and central locking system wired in, I have had fun trying to get it to fit into a car that's been converted to Right Hand Drive.
We took this car to Tasmania (our island State) this year.
We love our Mustangs!
Cheers,
Warwick
