1st MUSTANG!
I bought my first mustang today a 1993 gt with lx bumpers its a 5.0 wth JBA headers, performance exhuast, bbk fuelpump, 390 gears, 5 speed, hurst shifter, 10 hole black wheels, stock suspension, red paint ruff, black cowl hood, good black interior, clean motor hi po wires, pioner sterio, 70,000 original miles i hope, runs pretty hard for a stock motor, I have been a chevy guy for years, had a 65 nova ss, 57 chevy pu, 66 nova, 71 chevelle, and now have a 63 nova ss that i have been building for drag racing. I have always liked the fox body mustangs and admired their performance. It seems like you can put exhuast, gears, heads, cam, ignition, some sticky tires and get into the 12 sec range in the qrter mile, they handle good, and make reliable hp and get pretty dam good gas milage and you get to grab gears to boot pretty cool!I just turned 30 this year had my first kid a little girl 5 days ago, and figured what the hell i need a car to drive my little girl around in, i could sell my toyota pu and get a mustang, so i looked on craigslit at abought 3:00am last night and drove one home today at 8:00 pm, the guy i bought it off of just bought it but lost his job and had to sell it, I got it for $3,000 a great deal at least i think so, it was meant to be, my only regret was not getting one years ago, these things are funner than i thought to grab gears in and i am just getting use to it, cant wait to get some new parts heads, cam, ignition, some sticky tires, and hit the drag strip! May be a supercharger one day! I never thoght i would be saying this but i already love my mustang!
