Hello all! I am a new member from MD, just wanted to give a quick shoutout. I currently drive a vette (don't hate me) but have had two 5.0 LXs in the past; a 1988 and 1993. My gf is currently looking to buy a new 2010 GT and I am doing some research for her. I told her if I do all the research and get her a good price, she has to let me put a nice exhaust on there for her. Anyway, glad to be part of this forum!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I don't have any really exciting vette stories and the car is all but stock. It has BB Fusion exhaust, tint and clear bra. I am considering putting a mild cam. headers, CAI, ported TB and intake, and a tune, which should net me about 530-550rwhp. I should make my way into the 10.8s with some slicks. Anyone know how much the old 5.0s used to weigh?

Welcome! I was a Vette guy too until we had our kids and I wanted something we could all go cruising in, and I only buy American. So, I made the jump to the Mustang and couldn't be happier!!
