Hey all, just thought I should introduce myself. I am Sean, an auto body technician from South Dakota. Came across this site as I was looking for led tail-light bulbs!! I drive a '98 Atlantic Blue Cobra when the weather permits out here, otherwise I get around in my '95 Tacoma. Any questions, let me know! Thanks for having me.

Welcome... How fast is said Cobra?

 

Thanks for the welcome and comments! Yes, Ive had the truck for 8 years and it's been a lot of fun, but finally rolled it about six months ago on the last 4-wheeling outing. It was a slow roll to the drivers side, so you can't really tell by the pic. 225k miles and still tickin! Hoping the Cobra lasts that long....
As for how fast the Cobra is....I just bought it wrecked and got it fixed in the middle of last summer, so I have only had a few opportunities at the track. It's basically stock except for the King Cobra clutch and short-throw shifter. My best time is a 9.2 in the 1/8th mile. I know, I have some work to do! Not making excuses, but when I ran the 9.2, I was running 28" slicks and one-wheel peeling. Without the slicks, I ran a 9.3, so with that being said, I bought Ford Racing 4.10's. They will be installed once I have the money to upgrade to Moser 31-splines, detroit limited slip, and 26" slicks. We will see how that goes...
