Just Bought a used 02 covertible looking to fix it up
I just bought a used 02 convertible for my son, nothing too fancy just the best I could find on a budget. I want to fix it up real nice before I give it to him! There aren't any major problems I've found, just a couple cosmetic things here and there.
1) The top is a little aged, I wanted to know what I needed to do to make it look new again when he first gets it. I was looking at some black dyes but didn't know what was the best.
2) The paint has been scratched up pretty good in some spots. Whats a good place to get it painted and what kind of paint job do I need. Is Maaco a good deal, and which package would you recommend on a budget.
3) The top of the back tail light is extremely worn down, is there a way to refinish it, or would it need to be replaced?
4) The top seems to leak a bit, behind the rear seats fills up with water after heavy rains. Is there a quick fix?
