Hello Mustang Forum Members,
I am undergoing a complete restoration of a 1970 Mach1. I have owned the car since 1987 (paid $1,500. at the prime age of 21).
I took the car off the road in 1993 due to an accident and it sat until about 1 year ago. I am doing all mechanical related work, body work is being done by a pro. (Mickey Fearons Hi-Way Custom, Dracut Ma). The bodywork is getting close to being complete and I will be finishing the remainder of the restoration which includes the interior, electrical system and misc mechanical items still to be completed. I am struggling to make a decision if I should take the car back to my garage in the final primer stage and finish the remaining work then send it back or have the body guy take it to completion then finish my part. I will be activley posting in the classic forum once I have the car back in my posession.
In the past I used another forum site but it looks as though there have been some changes to the site, not as user friendly as it was and many knowledgable posters seem to have left. I have been lurking on this site an it seems like a good place to network problems and share solutions.
