Back in a Mustang at last! Thanks to my wife's mid-life crisis, we just bought a 2011 5.0. I test drove the 2010 GT and 2011, but man when I put my foot on the gas on that 5.0, the g's pulled me back in my seat and tore my foot off the gas pedal! I almost stalled it out; I had to learn to push harder on the gas to counteract the G.
My first car was an old '80 straight 6, and later we had a '90 5.0 GT, but this new car is just "sick", as the kids say.
We got the stripped down package - basically just an engine, 6 speeds, and brakes. So over time I'll be looking for tips on bumping performance, upgrading the interior, etc. I'm in no hurry, I love the performance on this car the way it is, and who cares about stereo systems when you can listen to that monster engine echo all down the street...
