Default Helpfull tips

I am 15 years old and will be getting my liscense in a few months, i currently have my eye on a 1994- 1996 mustang with a v8. I want to modify the car the most that I can for the least possible money becuse my budget will be tight. The only mod that i am looking to spend big money on is a supercharger, i am also looking for a place to find good mustangs for sale. I will be very greatfull for any help.

im in the same boat...not looking to pay a whole lot, want something cool and pretty quick. well first, get your head out of your ***. you'll have enough trouble not killing yourself in a V8, let alone supercharged. second, on a budget the SN95's arent the greatest, especially the 4.6's, because if you were to supercharge it, it would cost loads more. Most mods for SN95's (94-98) cost more than foxes (79-93 though87-93 are the only ones you should mess with) anyway. Fox bodies are where it's at. Cheap car, cheap mods, decent looks. Insurance will eat you alive on any V8 though...but the newer ones might even be cheaper because of more safety features, but go big or dont go at all

The low prices and fast depreciation of Mustangs in general make them ideal 1st cars, the motors are not new technology by any means, which means you can buy anything for them & parts are everywhere.

IMO, the best thing about Mustangs are 1. they are cheap 2. they are very common.

Good Luck to both of you !

uhh the overhead cam isnt anything cutting edge, but it is relatively new...but ill stick to the pushrod stuff for a first car cause they are common and cheap.
