Default Goodbye 4.6. Hello 5.0.

Alrighty then. I did it. I ordered a 2011 Mustang GT and I can't wait for it to get here. I purchased a 2003 (Yea, I know what my username is...I made a mistake when I created my account years ago...so sue me) Mustang GT in September of 2003. It has been a very dependable, fun car and I definitely would do it again. No regrets.

I have been eyeing the Mustangs since 2005, and watched closely as they improved it through the years. When they released the 2011 Coyote 5.0, I was drawn to it like a moth to flame. I specced out a Mustang on the web and brought the printout to a local dealership. After 2 days of dealing with the world's largest DB and his moronic manager, I opted to try a different dealership a little farther away (Lone Star Ford, Houston, TX). These guys rock.

I sat down with the salesman and showed him what I wanted. What's that?? Which one did I order? 2011 Mustang GT, Red Candy Metallic, California Special, HID Headlamps, 3.73 gears, Electronics Package, and Glass Roof. They offered me a good deal on the new car and a fair price on my trade-in, and I jumped on it.

I have to wait 4-8 weeks for delivery. How to survive??? Did anyone see the South Park episode where Cartman can't wait two weeks for the Nintendo Wii release date and he freezes himself? Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind.

Anywhooo.... I'll post some pics when I take delivery of my new car.

Thanks for the warm welcome back, all. I will certainly post a ton of pics as soon as I take delivery on the new car.
