Thumbs up Hello everyone!!

Looking forward to gaining (more) knowledge and hopefully do some networking here. I'm Aaron, been enlisted in the US Navy now for 12 years. Before that I spent 3 years in the Marines. Coming up on a career milestone as I will be separating from active duty come November 17th and renlisting into the Navy Reserve. (kinda want that retirement)
Little back round; this is my third pony. First was a 91 GT... completely stock. It was a graduation/enlistment present from mom and dad when I was 17. Alas, being a teenager with a mustang doesn't mix and it was taken away when I dropped out of college and sold. Second was a 2003 Mach 1 Sonic Blue. Had a CAI and open flowmaster exhaust. That was totaled by my ex-wife.
February 2007 I bought a Vista Blue GT as a birthday present...for myself. And vowed that this one wasn't going to leave my possession due to stupidity. Thus far I have invested quite a bit of time and $$$$ into this stang. The goal was to make it a FUN and safe daily driver, but still blow the doors of a WS6, Challenger, Charger or Camaro on the track.

Here's a brief list of what has been done...so far:

CHASSIS/SUSPENSION
  • STEEDA LCA's
  • STEEDA Upper Control Arm
  • STEEDA Front/Rear Sway bars and Endlinks
  • STEEDA Bump Steer
  • Brembo 'BIG' Break w/slotted rotors
  • SS Brake Lines
  • STEEDA Panhard Bar/brace
  • Tokico D-Spec Struts/Shocks
  • STEEDA Sport Springs
  • STEEDA HD Strut mounts
Driveline
  • STEEDA Tri-Ax Short Shifter...moving to Hurst shortly
  • Aluminum One-piece drive shaft
  • FRPP 3.73 rear end
  • Driveshaft Saftey Loop
  • Eaton Locker
  • Spec Stage 2 clutch w/aluminum flywheel
  • FRPP Hydraulic Throwout bearing
Styling Exterior/Interior
  • CDC Black grill
  • "4.6 High Performance" fender badging
  • Red Sox Nation window decal
  • "Police Interceptor" rear decklid badge (its gotten me outta couple pinches)
  • soon to come BOSS stripes
Engine(go power)
  • KENNEBELL 2.6L Blown
  • FRPP GT500 duel Fuel Pumps
  • Stock Cats and Headers
  • STEEDA Axle Back exhaust
  • Oil Catch Can...home depot mod
  • Soon to come built block and smaller S/C pulley...well not that soon, eventually

All in all its a solid car runs great and will put a smile on my face no matter how bad the day has been.

Here's a few pics...

Thanks for the welcome guys.
-Do have a quick question. A year ago the shifter dropped and was remounted. It did however grind a little bit on the drive shaft. Now it seems pretty loose and at high RPMs (3500+) trying to get into 3rd from 2nd is near impossible without slamming the shift handle into position. Wonder if I'm losing 3rd gear, the synchro or if the shifter has to be replaced or just re-adjusted.
Any insight would be appreciated.
