Default Hello, new to forums.

How are you guys n gals doin? Names Wayne, I'm 21 years old and I picked up my first mustang in early july. Its only a V6 but i'm proud of it any way. Was looking around on the internet for sites into aftermarket parts for mustangs and just general modification, and stumbled across this website.

Enough about me how bout the mustang.

Its a 2001 V6 Mustang that just clicked over 50k Miles about two weeks ago. Been wanting to do some things to it to increase power. And I wont lie to you guys I am new to this. And that is one of the reasons i'm here, is to learn whatever I can. I've done auto tech work in the past but its nothing on the scale of what I've seen in here and on other forums. So with that any advice, Help, Guidance would be welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

Well Wayne (Mr. Rogers), welcome to the MF from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

(...man, I wish I was 21 again)

You don't just have a V6, you have a Mustang with a V6 in it!

Here's the American Muscle site to get you started on some info about
your Mustang...there are tons of upgrades available for your car...
it's not like you have don't have 'time' on your side!

welcome to MF!
what larry said. AM is a great place to look and usaly has the lowest prices but shop around.
first upgrade should be a simple CAI and tune. great power gain for a low price. BAMA is very good tune and worth it to get a package with the CAI and tuner together, as its usually a lot cheaper. i dont know your price range but i favor K&N over BBK and Stack, that being said Stack would be my second choice since you can get combo pack for $90 cheaper then K&N. after that id say go with throttle body to get the most out of it.
after that maybe some new gears and tires to put the power down better if your car is manual.
hope that helps, cheapest street legal power gains i can come up with for you.

Yeah i've been lookin at AM and i've already done a CAI set up for it (K&N) and reading the V6 part of the forums here it seems that I do have a ton of options.
