I bought an 05 red V6 mustang back in November and I'm really enjoying it. I would love to make it even better but not sure what to do. This is my first new car and I am not very tech savvy at all so I'm looking for some help. What can I do to my car that's hopefully easy and not too expensive? Would love some feedback.

Welcome to the forums!

How much you looking to spend? lol Hundreds or thousands? Wanna focus on performance over appearance? Lots of options.

But be warned, once you get the mod bug, it bites HARD. But oh so worth it!

Well, I'm a college student so nothing over a few hundred at a time. haha. I'll be able to do more once summer roles around. But I'm looking for just a bit of both. Performance and appearance. Only worry is that I'll have to find someone else to do what I want done; I honestly dont know the first thing about working on cars. Wish I did. Would really like to learn though.

Welcome to the board.

For your first mod, you can do a CAI kit with tune. That is the simplest bolt on mod and the tune is simply plug and play by way of the OBD2 port. This is probably the most effective mod for the least amount of wrenching you can do. And it is so simple that the only other car thing that is easier to do is to rotate your tires.

Thanks! How would I go about getting the kit and instructions on how to do it?

Welcome to the forum! Good luck on your future mods! Have fun with it!

And might I suggest quarter window louvers or some sort of racing stripe. I like the super snake stripe the best.
