New to the whole mustang world actually. the closest i have come to owning one is the one my gf owns. =)
currently driving an excursion. its my little monster truck and quite a piece of work. you can check the link for pics of it in my car domain page which is in my profile section. I joined this place not only to learn more about the mustang but also the whole Ford scene since i do love my excursion. How ever the new stang has got my attention and the new Saleen even more. So the excursion is up for sale and i will am awaiting the arrival of the 06 S281E to join all the mustang enthusiast on the boards. hopefully i can learn a lot bein on here

Welcome to the forums. If you want the saleen you should really consider the new GT500. It's cheaper and faster.
5.4, 4 v supercharged > 4.6, 3v supercharged. Anyway, good luck and have fun!

yea i have been in a debate with my self about that. I love the look of the new saleen though.. but the price tag and HP of the cobra has also got my attention

How'd you get your hands on an E? I thought it was pretty hard, but maybe not. You and Birdieman should get along great then, he's getting the first 06E car I believe, and he knows a ton about Saleens, so definitely track him down.

I contacted a few dealerships and they said they have to special order them. There are alot of saleen dealers out here because the saleen factory is local. Its in Irvine where all the cars are made so in the 100 mile radius from me there is about 10 saleen dealers.
