Default Hello everyone

Hi guys. I'm a technician with an 86 mustang GT I'm working on and I daily drive a little Ranger. I have the motor out of the car and have a set of gt40p heads I'm going to install. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the car. I'm thinking of trying autocross with it.

Anyways would anyone help me out and tell me how to send a private message to someone. I've been trying to find a way on this forum but can't figure it out. Thanks you guys and hope to have a good time on here.

Welcome USDMasf ck to MF from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

To send a PM, just click on the person's name on the left, pick one of the
options (one of which is 'Send a private message to...')

Let's see some pics of the '86 GT...love to see 'project pics' here on MF

Alirght I just have a couple pics.

Here's the engine bay right now. Previous owner rattled can the car with black primer so there was tons of overspray in the bay on the original silver/gray paint so I had to take the opportunity to fix it up a little.

and here's the motor with the gt40ps. I need to get some new pistons with valve reliefs. I'm torn between choosing forged or hyper pistons. the hyper pistons are so cheap. My coworker has been saying a good hyper set will do well for an NA motor but I just like the idea of being able to do forced induction or nitrous in the future if I go with forged. I have the stock 86 pistons. Do you guys now if they're cast or forged. I always hear different things from different people. I'm thinking if I notch those pistons I'll end up weakening them even if they are forged.

Do you guys also know how to edit posts?
sorry about my rambling and the poor cell phone pics I should probably save my problems for a different thread.
