Default New guy from Cali.

Hey MF! new guy from Santa Maria, California.
I'm seventeen and a senior at Santa Maria High.
I have loved cars for as long as i can remember.
And now i have a 1966 mustang coupe 289 with a 3 speed manual.

Originally, it was my uncles car. He got it back in 2003 from a local guy.
I got this car from my uncle because i am working on his 65' coupe.
I am not doing it by myself, i'm having friends and teachers help me.
The car is not yet finished and will be going slowly because i am a poor high schooler.

Well here are some pictures.

Looks like a great project car. My first Mustang was a 66 too. Welcome to the Mustang Forums!

Welcome bitamin_66 to MF, from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

What a great '66 project car you have there young fella! The body looks nice and straight.
Is this going to be a complete 'stock restoration?' Or you going to 'customize a bit'?

Don't forget to take tons of pics of that re-build. There will be more than a
few folks wanting to buy that car once it's finished. Documentation is a
great thing to have, for sure. Keep us posted, will ya?

Good luck with your project AND thanks a bunch to your Uncle!

Larry

Thanks guys for the welcome.

Yeah, my uncle is so awesome, hes like my second dad.
Well for now i'm just thinking of a 'stock restoration' but sooner or later i'm going to 'customize a bit'

And ill be taking tons of pictures for sure. But i will be working on the 65' more. So this one will stay the same for awhile, besides the all of exterior pieces.
