Default intro

hello all. i'm getting ready to buy a 02-03 cobra in the next month or so and was wondering if anyone had any opinions whether or not to get a convertible. i've heard it both ways from non stang owners and want to know what the real jury's decision is. thanks

I'VE GOTTA CONVERTABLE AND I LOVE IT. ONLY THING ABOUT A CONVETABLE IS U HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF THE TOP. MOST CONVERTABLE TOPS LAST 5 YEARS, BUT IF TAKIN CARE OF REALLY GOOD IT WOULD LAST 6 TO 8 YEARS.CONVERTABLE TOPS COST ABOUT $900 TO $1500 DEPENDING WERE YOU GET IT FROM.

Welcome to the forums. I love my convert, but if I had to choose a car for the strip I would take the hard top hands down. I peronally like the cobra's in a hard top. BTW, they did not make a cobra in 2002. Have fun!
