Default New Guy from Texas

I have 98 mustang V6(wish it was a cobra) and done a little work on it. I have a quick question though, I have saved up enough money to swap out gears with 4.10's and buy a T-Lok but I heard people say that its a good idea to buy a new rear axle. I just wanted to know what you guys think or if you have had a problem with this set-up, thanks.

welcome to MFs..

and in my personal opinion.. as long as the housing/axles, etc are in decent shape, just do the change/swap out.. you will LOVE 4.10s and T-lok
