Hello,
Wanted to introduce myself, as it is most likely I will be asking stupid questions here soon!
I recently purchased an 05 GT, as a promise to myself that I would own an S197 before I turned a certain age (which is very, very soon-lol). I have loved this body style since I saw it years ago, and am very happy to finally have one. Though I really do enjoy many different types of cars, I have always wanted a piece of American muscle!
The car has already had some work, lowered with what appears to be Ford springs, Kooks headers, Magnaflow Exhaust, 4.10 gears and a K&N intake (from what I hear not a great choice on that last one). I love the sound! However, I don't believe it was ever tuned properly, and has thrown a code. Speedo is off by 10-13 mph all the time as well. I am hoping to have this resolved via Bamma/AM, whom I have researched the crap out of on this site. I spoke to them today and their customer service was great so far...
