Default Glad to be here...

A little about me:

Ive been a fly on the wall here for a few months and finally decided to officially join up.I'm not new to forums. I have been on a Hyundai Forum for a few years now. It was the first car i started moding. Was never a fan of being slow and being 18 with a Hyundai Accent was an embaressment...so I decided to start messing with it. It was cheep so when I screwed up parts were easy to replace and it was built like a 94' Civic so it was easy to figure out. Over the year I learned a lot about my car and cars in general. Now the good stuff.. Mustangs and Fords have been in my family long before I was born. My Dad always had his red 69' Mach 1 shell sitting in the garage as long as I can remember just waiting for the day he can rebuild it. My sister has a 2005 V6 and my Dad also has a 704 WHP GT 500 Super Snake. My first car was a 1970 Mustang Coupe 302. Sadly It was totaled by someone running a red light and plowing into it. Fast forward to last must where after a year and a half of researching and thinking I bought a 2012 V6 premium. It's black with the lava red interior, Pony Package and Security Package. I want to keep this as close to stock as I can...for now.

Things I plan to do over the next six months: HID conversion (I want to do it right just not sure how much it will be), decided on the Airaid CAI+ Bama 91 tune ( assuming AM gets them back in stock), Magnaflow Street Seris cat back and maybe some better speakers (got the Shaker 500 system). Later down the road if it's proven more so that the DS is faulty I may go for the Alum. DS from Shaft Masters and even later down the road I may throw in for the Procharger system...who knows.
Anyways i hope to find all that I'm looking for here and glad I finally got a Mustang back in my driveway!

Welcome dude. Sounds like you got a nice car too. I just installed a shaftmaster DS. Great piece and great company to deal with. I love how my car drives now. Throttle response is so crisp. Speakers swap out real easy too, simple mod, well at least there were on an 06.
