Hey,
I'm Zack and finally got my first mustang back in the very beginning of October. I have had a couple fords before, mainly old police interceptors so I know the 2v 4.6L. Anyway I found it for sale when I was on the hunt for a stang cause that is what I was obsessed with. My dad has a 03 gt vert that I help him work on. I slowly, ok fastly fell in love with it. I had a 99 mitsubishi Eclipse with a big turbo but was sick of the front wheel drive.
Any I got rid of the eclipse bought this 2000 GT with a 100k on it. It has 3:73 a k&n cold air intake, lowered 2" on dropzone springs and American racing s200 wheels, 17x9 up front 17x11 out back with 315's.
So I bought it. I have been having a blast with it. Way more fun then my eclipse even though it is way slower (but that will change).
I bought it and it needed rear tires (surprise) a new front bumper cover and a windshield as it is cracked. No biggy since I'm a body man and painting a new cover isn't a big deal. In the pics you will tell
I do have a poll though, I want to paint and install the new front cover but I dont know if I should get a stock gt cover with a chin spoiler or get a 03-04 cobra cover and add foglights.
Anyway here are the first pics of it. It had stock chrome backround headlights with a billet grille. I got rid of those and bought 01+ headlights and painted that terrible billet grille.
It also had some gay GT-R badges on the fenders when I got it. Now it has nothing, just the holes in the fenders. Gonna get new edge v6 emblems for the fenders as I love the pony and the gt emblems look tacky.
It has newer scoop and side scoops with a black gt decal on the hood. Gonna repaint it and add some black accents like the decal but paint them on.
Sorry I get long winded about my car but I love this thing. New front cover coming soon.
