New to MF
Hey guys, my names Dan I'm new to MF but have been in the mustang game for awhile. I'm not sure whats typically posted in this section but heres the breakdown of my mustang experience and ongoing build. I bought my 2000 Roush Stage 2 about four years ago with boltons, exhaust and a vortech v2. I drove it through high school until I bought a beater to drive for college. I've since put on a p51 intake, fuel rails, and did some cosmetic upgrade/upkeep. This past October a reducer, on the elbow between my powerpipe and vortech headunit, sucked into the supercharger breaking four and half of the impeller blades, shooting them through my motor. Upon tear down of the motor we found I had nicked two of my valve seats and had two small knicks on the top of the piston in cylinder #1. While I had previously had plans of forging the 4.6, putting a smaller pulley up the vortech, and adding an intercooler this winter, after running some numbers I decided I could swing my "dream setup" with a bit more downtime. I've since bought a 04 Navigator 5.4 4V, which I am putting a MMR1000 rotating assembly in with ARP hardware. I'm currently looking for a deal on a set of GT supercar cams, and will be buying a set of quality springs to have install along with them. I have ordered a full AJE front suspension kit, as well as a Glenn's Performance fuel kit. I am still weighing my intake options, and am working on putting together a custom twin turbo setup; however, I am still researching alot on the subject. I apologize for the lengthy post, but I figured a full introduction could break the ice as I'm planning on frequenting the site through my build.
