Hello! :D
Hello Everyone,
I heard about this site from my step dad, who is the reason I got my Mustang to begin with, who told me this was a great forum for Mustang related help or general talk. I bought my 1998 Mustang exactly a year ago which came with a blown V6 motor. I was quick to swap the motor out and purchase a P-51 intake manifold, K&N air filter, 75mm Accufab throttle body and long tube Pacesetter headers. I also tore out ever inch of the interior and replaced it with black carpeting, painted and/or replaced the beige panels for black ones, and replaced the old torn up seats for some nice gray ones. Problem was that after conducting the engine and transmission swap from a V6 auto to a V8 manual it didn't want to crank at all. I had been busting my head trying to figure out what was wrong until I started working at Advance Auto Parts as of October and one of our commercial clients listened to my problem and gave me the number to a locksmith to reset the ECU. I gave the gentleman a call and got it fired up right away this past Friday. One can only imagine my level of happiness for finally getting my first project car ever cranked and running. I've just got to take care of some minor things such as fluids, etc and she will be ready to drive and take to the drag strip eventually. I also recorded it and posted it online to show off to my family and friends :P . If anyone has any advice for me pertaining my first project street/strip car please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Rigo

At least you didn't jump in with both feet right off the bat. LOL Congrats on your success with your first project. Definitely look in the 4.6 section for advice. Your questions will get way more attention and it will be from the guys who know it best. Again, welcome and congrats.
