Hey Guys!! Though technically I'm not NEW new to the forum (have been a lurking member since June of last year), I recently purchased my 2nd Mustang and finally feel like I have a car that is worthy of my fellow MF'ers here.
Guess I'll start with the basics first. Do bear with me, I tend to get pretty elaborate with details and such.
My name is Ross and I'm from a small town in Southeast Missouri called Charleston. I'm 25, and I work for Pepsi MidAmerica, a franchise bottler/distributor of various PepsiCo products.
I had bought a 2006 Mustang back in 09, a trio of firsts for me (first Ford, first Mustang, first RWD vehicle). Though I was happy with it at first, it didn't take long to catch the modding bug, and I installed a few minor upgrades, such as a CAI, axleback kit, a tuner, some tail lights, etc. I was sated for the time being, but I began to crave more...more power and better looks mainly. The search was on!!
I found the car that stole my heart on of all places, Autotrader. A beautiful black 2008 GT/CS 5-speed (i'm a manual man, always have been, just never could find anything with a stick in these parts) with just shy of 11k miles on it and already loaded with a few performance goodies. I jumped on the opportunity, and after a 5-hour drive at night in raining/snowing conditions and a horrid hotel stay with very little sleep, I was driving home in my baby and haven't felt as happy as that day in quite some time. Of course I haven't had her but for a couple weeks now and I've already added a Pypes exhaust and a new tuner with some Bama tunes, and the parts just keep coming in! Needless to say, I'm enjoying myself thoroughly right now. Every trip is more exciting...I even look forward to driving to work in the morning now!! LOL
So, uh, yeah, I guess that's a good enough intro. Anybody have any questions for me?? Is that how this works?? Or do I just slip back into the shadows...maybe watch these little emotes battle it out...
