Im looking at getting a tuner but was wounding if a chip would be better or are they virtually the same.

1 thing (if not mistaken) chips cannot be upgraded. With a tuner (Bama) you get free tunes for life. Check out the 4.6 section of MF...

Hello and welcome aboard! Tuner is better, more options and it plugs into your OBDII port and is easier to use (amongst other things).
