+hello+
Hello everyone,
Just making a intro thread to say hi
Joining "mustangforums" and "moddedmustangs" to try to get help and advice.
Me (Dom) and my friend (Derek) (both 20 years old) want to start learning more about cars. Honestly we are pretty clueless. I love to "mod" my little beat up BMW, but that is just mostly exterior body panels and interior stuff. I know next to nothing about engines, suspension, and all that good stuff.
So what's a great way to learn? Building a car I suppose haha.
The plan is to try to find an old beat up classic for cheap and fix it up. My other friends dad (Mike) who grew up fixing and restoring old classic mustangs said he will help us learn.
But i'll continue all of this in a progress thread that i'll link in a post in this thread after I make it. I hope you guy's are friendly and willing to help me out
PS: Me and Mike are meeting with the owner of a beat up 65 tomorrow. Me and my friend are hoping to spend less than $1,500 when we pick one up. Is that crazy of us to think?
I'll post pictures asap
Peace
PPS: Where would I make a progress thread? "moddedmustangs" has a forum area specifically for projects but I don't see one on "mustangforums"?
