Default 03 Cobra SVT

My friends 03 Cobra SVT is pouring out gas through the thorttle body. Why would this be happing to his Cobra? We thought maybe it was flooded, so we turned the fuel pump and the Cobra stay on for 10mins and then shut off. Then once the Cobra cut off, then we turned the fuel pump back on and it still was pouring out the gas from the thorttle body. and it will not turn on.

Welcome to MF! ....Sounds like it could be the FRPS (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor)...If the diafram breaks inside the FRPS, fuel will get into the vacuum & perhaps the TB...Also, check your oil (dipstick) to see if it smells like fuel!! If this is the case, you'll also have to change your oil & filter!....Good luck!

Be sure to check out the SVT section as well...
