Default New here

Hey guys, new here, was an F150 guy.
For issues beyond my control, I ended up settling for a 2000 Mustang GT that belonged to an older guy. 52k miles, and bone stock with a five speed.
Needless to say, I'm freakin hooked, and I love driving it! Got some stuff that I've ordered on the way, I will post pictures as I make improvements!
R,
Chris
PS: If anyone has any tips on this model year, give me a shout out. Including clutch adjustment!

Congrats on the car, and welcome to the forums. If you need anything from me, just let me know.

Clutch adjustments are pretty easy. I would look into an adjustable cable, and a firewall adjuster. We sale kits for these type of situations.

Thanks Jarrod, I've heard bad things about aftermarket cables. A lot of my friends stick with OEM. Due to aftermarket ones snapping!

I have used aftermarket cables on my personal cars with no problems. Some have snapped, and have even been stretched out just like a stock cable.

The only way to adjust a stock cable, is to use a firewall adjuster. There is no adjustments with the stock set up.
