thank you everyone for the friendly welcome! I'll probably head over to the 4.6 mustangs subforums real soon for some questions on my setup and a couple of weird things i've noticed while looking at the engine.

Welcome. Just a thought but the car you have may have been built in '99 but that is a 2000 body if I'm seeing the pic right. My last pony was a 2000 v6 and it is a great car so I would expect even more from this one. Enjoy it. You will get years of fun out of it.
